Music Therapist Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized music therapy plans for clients
  • 1 to 2 years of experience
  • A demonstrated ability to adapt approach to a variety of demographics
  • Infectious love of all types of music
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
  • Board certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) preferred
  • Knowledge of music therapy techniques and methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
