Experienced Blow Molding Machine Technician needed to perform preventative and corrective maintenance for a successful manufacturing company. This position supports overhauling and installing equipment and will be cross trained on Blow Molding and Injection Molding machines. Use your skills to support continuous improvement in processes and work with new technology. Apply today!
Blow Molding Machine Technician Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all quality, safety and work regulations.
- Oversee a group of blow molding machines
- Observe products for deviations and make frequent quality checks throughout the day
- Frequent checks of heat controls, cooling water temperatures, pressures, extruder and hydraulic units
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues of all machines
- Respond and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Perform mold and line changeovers
Blow Molding Machine Technician Qualifications:
- 5 +years experience in manufacturing in an industrial setting
- Technical School training preferred; HS diploma required
- Blow Molding Machine experience; Uniloy and Bekum machines experience preferred
- Proficiency with blow molding and injection molding equipment operations and troubleshooting
- Must be able to read and understand resin technical data sheets
- Basic math, computer, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to become forklift certified within 60 days
