We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of catering operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and managing a team of professionals to deliver top-tier experiences. This role requires strong leadership, a high work ethic, and the flexibility to accommodate various work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catering Operations Management:
    • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently
    • Manage menu selections, food preparation, and presentation to meet the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop customized catering options that meet client needs and preferences
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, train, and motivate the catering team to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational goals
    • Provide ongoing support and feedback to staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss event logistics, guest feedback, and areas for improvement
  • Sales and Client Relations:
    • Drive catering sales by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new business and maximize revenue opportunities
    • Ensure all client inquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest satisfaction
  • Guest Service Focus:
    • Uphold a guest-first approach, ensuring every event delivers an exceptional experience for attendees
    • Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism
    • Continuously seek feedback from guests to improve services and exceed expectations
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Maintain a high work ethic and demonstrate self-initiative in managing daily tasks and responsibilities
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
    • Monitor and control inventory, budgets, and costs associated with catering operations

Catering Manager Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a Catering Manager or Catering Sales Manager
  • High-volume off-site catering experience
  • Strong financial acumen
  • An outgoing leader, with the ability to rally the team and create a great culture
  • A strong, positive personality who leads from the front
