We are looking for a self-motivated operations and tax professional, who is passionate about delivering a product that will revolutionize the private investing market. The ideal candidate will be excited about working in a fast-paced startup setting and is self-motivated!
Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Analyze taxable income for investment vehicles and communicate with business team members to provide tax perspective on business deals
- Assist VP Finance in compiling partnership tax returns and reviewing financial records
- Consult with clients on tax-related matters
- Define product requirements for automating fund tax return and compliance processes
- Assist with audits and review client records to ensure that they are up-to-date
Tax Manager Qualifications
- Experience with preparing 1065s and K-1s (preferably with CCH Axcess)
- You are excited to learn about the rapidly changing alternative investment space and strive to deeply understand customer pain points
- Adaptable and is excited to work with and learn from the product, operations, finance, and legal teams
- Exceptional organizational skills
- CPA required
