We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food manufacturing facility’s kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, team management, and a deep understanding of food safety regulations. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet our high standards of quality.

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including production schedules, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure high levels of performance and morale.
- Ensure that all products meet our strict quality standards and that production processes comply with food safety regulations.
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses, including labor, ingredients, and equipment, to maximize profitability.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and reduce waste by implementing efficient stock control procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve kitchen processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production operations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen operations, including production output, costs, and staffing.
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in a food manufacturing or large-scale food production environment.
- Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related education is preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP, FDA, etc.), production processes, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment and software for inventory management and production planning.
