We are recruiting for a hands-on Food Manufacturing Production Manager to join a growing company. As an Assistant Food Manufacturing Production Manager, you will work directly with your staff to ensure procedures are being followed and the delivery of quality products. You'll also play a key role in streamlining the lines to ensure changeovers work properly for the varying product types offered.

Assistant Food Manufacturing Production Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure daily production demands are met, while minimizing labor and waste
  • Identify process improvements and time savings
  • Provides weekly reports on overtime levels, waste, production, employee and equipment updates
  • Handling monthly training and safety meetings
  • Assist in cost/benefit analysis of new projects and production methods to make recommendations

Food Manufacturing Production Manager Requirements: 

  • 1+ years of experience in production management in the food & beverage industry
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in related field business management or food and beverage
  • Working knowledge of USDA, FDA, GMPs, ISO 9001, HACCP, and OSHA regulations a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Hands-on do what it takes attitude
