We are looking for a hunter, a builder, and a people person! Our next director of sales will be gregarious and outgoing, will enjoy trade shows and networking events, will enthusiastically take the reins of our sales funnel, and will enjoy building a department of dedicated sales professionals! Is this you?

Resort Director of Sales Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a director of Sales for a full-service, multi-amenity resort
  • 1+ year working in a destination location
  • Experience with Trade Shows, Networking, and industry events
  • A passion for people, entertainment, and events
  • A strong hunter mentality and approach to business development

Resort Director of Sales Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales team with clear communication and upright integrity
  • Seek out and book new groups and events
  • Negotiate prices for rooms, room blocks, events, and amenities
  • Attend Trade Shows as a property representative to drive business
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team about all events and incoming business
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Other duties as assigned
