Join our exceptional team as a QC/QA Food Safety Technician, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This proactive role involves monitoring, testing, and implementing quality assurance processes to comply with regulatory requirements and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Develop and manage QA programs, including HACCP and SQF
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify and resolve non-conformances, implementing corrective actions (CAPA)
- Train staff on GMPs, hygiene, and food safety protocols
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, supporting third-party audit readiness
- Execute environmental monitoring programs and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Quality and Food Safety
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, SQF)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP and certifications (HACCP, PCQI, SQF) a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
