- Transmission Civil Engineer Benefits and Compensation:

Transmission Civil Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Successful completion of the FE required, EIT status preferred, PE ideal.
- 3+ years of Transmission Line Engineering or related experience desired.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation is preferred, but not required.
Transmission Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts to construct high voltage transmission lines using appropriate methodology and oversee plan preparation. (i.e. construction, plan, & profile drawings, staking tables, construction coordinates.)
- Prepare technical reports, construction estimating, contract documents and specifications, and administer public bidding process.
- Coordinate verbal and written communication with a multidiscipline team, contractors, and clients throughout the project.
- Support business development operations by attending industry functions, client meetings/presentations.
