- Our client, an insurance organization with over three decades of successful history, is seeking a Contract Surety Underwriting Trainee to join their growing organization.
- SURETY UNDERWRITING TRAINEE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain relationships with agents and brokers
- Oversee a book of contract surety business within the assigned territory
- Perform analytical evaluations of financial statements and monitor financial positions
- Determine acceptability of surety risks based on underwriting guidelines
- SURETY UNDERWRITING TRAINEE REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience with construction accounting/financial experience
- Experience working in the small to mid-sized construction/contractor industry
- Knowledge of contract terms
