We are seeking a proven and dedicated Assistant General Manager to RELOCATE for a position at our private, seasonal golf club in rural Nebraska. The ideal candidate will bring significant and recent private club management experience and an extensive FOH food and beverage and lodging background. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of a well-respected and growing organization at their seasonal club.
Assistant General Manager Perks:

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for contributing to the success of all club facets with a strong emphasis on the food and beverage FOH, housekeeping and lodging departments day-to-day operations
- Develop and maintain genuine relationships with all members and their guests
- Work with the GM to develop marketing, sales and promotional strategies to grow the business and overall profitability including sales of meeting rooms, private dining events, and member outings
- Partner with the Executive Chef to provide exceptional cuisine in a proficient and memorable manner while consistently meeting or exceeding financial goals
- Assist in the annual budgetary process and relentlessly manage to agreed-upon desired results
- Work in the off-season to prepare for the next season. Occasionally help with other private clubs across the US, as needed.
Assistant General Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a multi-department management role at a private golf club or upscale boutique hotel
- Solid career progression and tenure
- Strong technical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen and significant P&L management experience
- Polished, professional appearance; quality verbal and written skills
- B.A. or B.S. with an emphasis in Hospitality is a plus
- Ability and desire to relocate to rural Nebraska
