A leading fundraising organization seeks an Administrative Specialist to support the Northeast team in a number of areas. This is an ideal role for an individual looking for a career in non-profits.

Non-Profit Administrative Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Dual administrative role supporting creation of reports, solicitation materials, and database entry.
  • Interact with donors, volunteers and staff so must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Oversee flow of legal documents to ensure timely receipt of donations
  • Update and monitor Legacy website
  • Update and maintain data in Raisers Edge to create spreadsheets and send group mails
  • Work with overseas volunteers and their needs during US visits
  • Make travel arrangement
  • Manage WhatsApp groups
  • Write blurbs for quarterly news articles
  • Other duties as assigned

Non-Profit Administrative Specialist Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative assistance experience, preferably within a non-profit
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Raisers Edge, and Internet) and be familiar with working with database programs and presentation software
  • Must be able to work independently, multitask, and work under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, and high accuracy and organization
  • Adaptable personality to support 2 different area managers
