Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, train, and develop all management and staff. 
  • Continually evaluate processes and staff to improve the performance of the restaurant as a whole.
  • Strong financial acumen with controlling costs and generating revenue.
  • Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction and cultivate return business. 
  • Leadership mentality with the ability to motivate and build a strong team.
  • In charge of all hiring and training which includes setting up interviews for management and creating training documents as needed
  • Use provided tools to analyze business patterns, labor trends, and sales history to make smart and effective business decisions. 

Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:

  • A college degree or equivalent experience is required. 
  • Strong communication, supervisory skills, organizational skills, and computer literacy required. 
  • Must have 5 years of food and beverage experience with 2 years preferred in a fine dining atmosphere.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant
