Restaurant Manager

We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager for our upscale/fine dining concept. If you are creative with an entrepreneurial mindset, we would love to speak with you!

Restaurant Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Mandatory)
• At least three years of à la carte restaurant experience, preferably in a white tablecloth environment
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a high volume restaurant environment
• Ability to define, propose and implement effective solutions
• Proven skills in a staff organization, workflow, use of controls and personnel management
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team member as well as independently, demonstrating initiative and creativity
• Must complete or possess ServSafe Certification, TIPS Alcohol Certification and the University's hazard communication program

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities

• Complete responsibility for the planning, coordinating and directing of the administrative, operational and programmatic activities of the restaurant, including the creative planning, costing and execution of special events
• Develop and provide vision with clear direction to the restaurant staff
• Ensure prompt, friendly customer service
• ensure coordination of responsibilities for the smooth operation of all special events
• Analyze operational situations such as staff and product shortages, equipment failure or other problems and provide timely solutions to issues
• Provide assistance to customers in selecting menus, linens, table arrangements and room setups for special events
• Responsible for all facets of budget development, analysis and management within the restaurant
