A world-renowned bridal boutique is seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our boutique. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the bridal industry. As General Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring that every bride receives the highest level of service.

Bridal Boutique General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily boutique operations including staff scheduling, inventory management, ordering, market and merchandising wedding dresses and accessories.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure every customer receives a personalized and memorable shopping experience that exceeds expectations, resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Sales and Performance: Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, upselling strategies, and proactive customer outreach.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, and train boutique staff. Schedule and manage staff hours, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development. Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with designers, vendors, and industry professionals to enhance product offerings and exclusivity.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing regular reports for the owner. Manage the boutique’s budget, including expenses and payroll. Implement strategies to optimize profitability and control costs.
  • Marketing and Community Engagement: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Plan and execute in-store events, trunk shows, and promotional activities. Build and maintain relationships with local wedding vendors and community organizations. Manage the boutique’s social media presence and online reputation.

Bridal Boutique General Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in retail management, preferably in the bridal or luxury fashion industry.
  • Creative and detail-oriented with a keen eye for fashion and trends.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
