Managing Director/Chief of Staff for UHNW Household

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Managing Director/Chief of Staff to oversee the daily operations of an ultra-high net worth family household set on a 700+ acre estate. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a strong background in private household and estate management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage household staff, including hiring, training, and supervision.
  • Oversee household operations and ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
  • Manage household budgets, expenses, and financial planning.
  • Plan and coordinate family events, social engagements, and travel.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure maintenance and security of properties, including renovations and regular upkeep.
  • Oversee property upkeep, maintenance, and development of the 700+ acre estate.
  • Manage construction and remodeling projects.
  • Develop and implement efficient structures, processes, and routines.
  • Maintain and organize personal and confidential information with discretion.
  • Implement household policies and procedures.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth household.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in property management and development of large estates.
  • Knowledge of construction and remodeling processes.
  • Ability to develop and implement efficient structures and routines.
  • Discreet and trustworthy.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Flexible to adapt to the dynamic needs of the family.

Compensation:

  • Tremendous base salary
  • Bonus structure – discretionary by Owners (intends to be generous!)
  • Medical benefits TBD
  • PTO
  • On Property Housing available for Leadership roles – to be discussed during the interview process.
  • Working directly with visionary Owners
