We are looking for a tax and accounting associate for a local CPA firm that specializes in business tax and consulting that serve multiple states and industries. They have a concentration of construction companies, medical and dental practices, and professional service companies as clients.
Tax and Accounting Associate (CPA firm) qualifications and requirements:
-At least 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm
-CPA a plus
-Experience with Lacerte a plus
-Experience with the preparation of business and personal tax returns
-Preparation of payroll tax returns, sales tax returns and bookkeeping using Quickbooks and Sage
-Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and prepare deposits
-Proficient in GAAP accounting and the preparation of financial statements and associated notes
