Machine Shop Operations Manager Perks

Machine Shop Operations Manager Requirements

  • A Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with progressive experience in a machine shop or automotive repair shop
  • Experience in a customer/client-facing role
  • Experience managing teams from multiple departments with multiple projects simultaneously

Machine Shop Operations Manager Responsibilities

  • Set operational goals and objectives to drive operations and complete customer orders by the deadline
  • Implement effective and sustainable best-in-class manufacturing processes
  • Develops capacity models, and optimizes scheduling and setup. Identifies gaps and develops plans to address
  • Develops plans for optimal use of materials, machines, and members
