Financial Controller Duties and Benefits:

Financial Controller Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
  • Ensures that financial statements properly reflect all financial activity and that all financial and key performance measures are properly recorded and reconciled
  • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures and analyzing variances; proposing corrective actions
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data

Financial Controller Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience improving accounting department controls, systems, procedures, and organizational flow
