Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Full-service Restaurant.
  • Experienced in inventory management and ordering.
  • Held a position as kitchen manager or deputy kitchen manager in a busy, systems-focused casual to upscale-casual setting.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership qualities: friendly, with a coaching mentality, leading by example, and upholding restaurant standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with resilience and composure.
  • Proven track record of upholding standards, exceeding expectations, and building strong relationships.
  • Strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards is essential.

Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Stay actively involved and vigilant in all aspects of the business operations.
  • Train, coach, and lead the team, setting high standards and consistently delivering exceptional results.
  • Foster respectful relationships with every kitchen team member while maintaining accountability, prioritizing integrity and inclusivity.
  • Uphold high service standards with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ensure smooth operations in a high-volume environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure outstanding guest experiences every time.
