Electrical Engineering Manager Qualifications:

  • PE, or ability to obtain quickly, required
  • 15+ years of electrical systems design including experience with power distribution, substation and distribution hardware specification, power system modeling, control systems and hardware interfacing 
  • Knowledge of single line & schematic diagrams, PID’s and NEC standards
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

  • Performs engineering analysis and design 
  • Oversees projects from planning through execution, including coordinating and scheduling personnel and maintaining budgets 
  • Reviews and approve design plans to ensure quality and accuracy 
  • Staffing including hiring, developing, and motivating teams
  • Takes an active role in client presentations and business development
