Executive Ramen-Sushi Chef

Seeking a skilled Executive Chef for this chef-driven, ramen and sushi-focused, Japanese comfort food concept. The Executive Chef will lead kitchen operations, train and develop the culinary team, and ensure exceptional food at the very highest quality. If you have Asian cuisine experience with a strong knowledge of ramen techniques, sushi, and flavor profiles we want to speak with you today!

Executive Ramen-Sushi Chef Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume Asian cuisine/ramen-inspired concept
  • At least 5 years of culinary experience
  • Culinary Arts degree highly preferred
  • Strong financials and experience working with and understanding P&Ls and budgeting
  • Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Executive Ramen-Sushi Chef responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and develop a kitchen team
  • Focus on menu and recipe consistently
  • Required administrative work and provide operational feedback
  • Ensure that health department policies, regulations, and standards are met
  • Track and manage labor and costs, schedule, inventory control, hiring, and accountability
