Our client is a local and reputable pet supply company who seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic General Manager to lead their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate organization dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering customer loyalty.

General Manager Benefits:

General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management and customer service associates to stay informed about current promotions, sales, and specials.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent.
  • Train, coach, and develop associates in all store functions to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company standards.
  • Foster a growth-oriented and engaging environment for staff.
  • Promote a positive team culture by working alongside associates, setting priorities, and providing clear direction.
  • Oversee employee performance management within the store, supporting continuous improvement and growth.
  • Achieve or surpass goals related to total store sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Manage schedules and adjust hours and payroll to maximize productivity and meet sales and payroll targets.
  • Maintain the store’s professional image, appearance, and cleanliness.

General Manager Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and merchandising.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to train and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of safety, security, and loss prevention protocols.
