We are seeking a dynamic Controller to lead our financial operations, enhance our internal controls, and support our strategic initiatives. This position is in-person close to Franklin, MA. Controller Qualifications/Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting/Finance) and CPA certification required
  • 10-15 years of accounting experience (public/private sector) with strong financial management skills (budgeting, analysis, risk assessment)
  • Oversee financial reporting internally, externally, and to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with GAAP
  • Lead the annual budgeting process with department heads, and monitor/analyze budget variances for cost optimization
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and support strategic initiatives, including risk assessment and tax compliance
  • Track and manage pricing, promotion, IR, and Merchandise Funds, and recommend/implement accounting process improvements
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a problem-solving mindset and big-picture perspective
