Buyer II Responsibilities:

  • Creating complex solicitations, supporting proposals, conducting price and cost analysis
  • Working on moderate to high complex assignments where analysis of routine and non-routine data is required
  • Interacting with procurement staff, peer groups, suppliers, internal customers, and potentially senior management
  • Work with program staff to ensure compliance with required performance

Buyer II Qualifications:

  • 2 – 5 years of buying experience
  • Experience as a buyer in the construction sector
  • Experience executing $100k purchase orders
  • Knowledge of business principles such as procurement business and contract law, finance, and accounting
