You'll lead our Production Kitchen Team alongside our Executive Pastry Chef, ensuring impeccable standards. With a knack for organization and a cool head under pressure, you'll thrive in our high-volume environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct all service production.
  • Assist in daily pastry production, encompassing baking and decorating.
  • Maximize staff productivity while taking ownership of kitchen output.
  • Train and develop team members in proper execution.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adherence to sanitation laws.
  • Communicate efficiently with front-of-house managers for seamless service.
  • Assist in budget management for food and labor costs.
  • Control food waste and ensure consistent food preparation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to exceed guest expectations.
  • Foster a safe workplace and promptly resolve any kitchen issues.
  • Uphold company standards and procedures.
  • Assist in event execution and inventory management.
  • Provide effective communication and training to the team.
  • Perform administrative tasks and attend meetings as required.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high-volume kitchen.
  • At least 1 year of cake decorating experience and baking experience.
  • Preferred experience with French pastry.
  • Professional appearance and hygiene.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of food and labor cost controls.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs and work standing for long periods.
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
  • ServeSafe certification and proficiency in MS Office applications.
