Commercial Outside Sales Representative Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • At least 1 year of outside B2B sales experience in service industries
  • Feel confident prospecting clients on-site
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Deliver exceptional service, follow up to ensure satisfaction, and think creatively about how to grow the relationship.
  • You’ve got to like to sell solutions to problems.
  • You’ll move around a lot — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. You’ll go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. And you’ll need to keep your balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
