BUSINESS ANALYST BENEFITS

BUSINESS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects data from various departments and sources; acquires thorough understanding of the business needs and requirements of other departments within the company.
  • Filters and identifies relevant data; analyzes the data to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and other patterns as business needs dictate.
  • Makes recommendations that reduce cost, reduce risk, support compliance, improve efficiency, and/or optimize resource allocation.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to solve complex problems; collaborates with others to shape and/or drive business strategies.
  • Provides data analysis and guidance to other departments in support of accomplishing their objectives.
  • Develops and maintains process flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Performs or assists with internal audits.
  • Creates and delivers presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations; communicates exceptionally well verbally and in writing by efficiently delivering all material information.

BUSINESS ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration, economics, accounting, management, mathematics, or a similar field)
  • 3+ years of experience in same role
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office especially Excel, other platforms used
  • Internal audit experience compiling, sorting, and organizing large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of agricultural operations (to be acquired within a reasonable timeframe after hire).
