Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily restaurant operations with a focus on flawless execution, increasing profit, and enhancing the guest experience
  • Promote a teaching and learning environment
  • Ability to motivate others to accomplish goals
  • Knowledge of food specs and execution

Sous Chef Requirements:

  • 2 years minimum of progressive experience as a Sous Chef
  • Proven leadership skills, strong communication, and ability to follow through.
  • Ability to manage and inspire kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative, seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in every dish.
  • Ensure all kitchen activities adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
