Grocery Store Director Qualifications:

  • Extensive grocery store management experience
  • Proficiency in POS systems and various computer tools
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities to support the leadership team and employees
  • Robust financial acumen, including P&L management, food cost, and labor cost control
  • BASSET Certification

Grocery Store Director Responsibilities:

  • Curate a diverse range of locally sourced and regional products
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and distributors
  • Oversee merchandising to maintain organizational standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service and offer product recommendations
  • Efficiently manage inventory levels and stock
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit in handling scheduling and ordering tasks
