Fresh Manager Responsibilities include

  • Lead and manage all aspects of grocery store operations in fresh departments including sales, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, increase market share, and achieve financial targets
  • Build and lead a high-performing team including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management while fostering teamwork and a positive work environment
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Fresh Manager Requirements

  • 5 years in an AGM or Fresh Manager role – previous Food Market experience is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, retail management, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, customers, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze financial statements, develop budgets, and manage costs
