We are a strong, growing restaurant group based in DC seeking an experienced Sous Chef for one of our our upscale, high-volume, restaurant locations. If you have 4+ years of upscale kitchen management experience and are looking for long-term growth, we want to talk to you!

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Exceed the expectations of every guest every time – focus on quality
  • Train, coach, and direct team – set the bar high
  • Build respectful relationships with every member of the team while holding them accountable
  • Control costs in the kitchen and manage high standards of service while paying attention to the details

Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in management roles in upscale dining establishments
  • Strong and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, positive attitude, strong communicator
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
  • Flexible availability for schedules – some days/some nights
  • Proven ability to uphold standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships – attitude and drive are everything
  • Passionate, outgoing, patient, and persistent personality
