Our manufacturing client located in Morristown, TN is seeking a Production Manager for their Heat Treatment Department. The ideal candidate will be process and system driven with experience in production management. This role is on-site.

Production Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead team members assigned to heat treatment department
  • Train and develop operators in proper heat treat processes.
  • Create production schedules and stage furnaces and induction equipment
  • Monitor furnace operations to maintain proper performance
  • Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Production Manager Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of team leadership
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proven knowledge of heat treat equipment and testing equipment is preferred
  • Lean principles / 5S experience preferred
  • Knowledge of safety practices and protocols related to a manufacturing environment
