Our client manufactures custom-engineered passive microwave components for the defense industry. Having an established history of over 50 years, they are in need of an Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for passive component design.

RF Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Work on customized designs for filters, transitions, couplers, OMTs, feed networks, and adapters as well as analysis, hardware design, and testing.
  • Assume creative control of the design process throughout its project life cycle from design to manufacturing

RF Electrical Design Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering a plus
  • Academic coursework to include Microwave Engineering and Electromagnetic theory
  • Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools
  • 5+ years of experience designing waveguides and related components
  • Demonstrated propensity for learning via self-study
  • Excellent multi-tasker, written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance
