This role presents an excellent chance to become part of a rapidly expanding team, offering numerous avenues for career progression in support of EW&C. Our client is looking for a Lead Cyber Warfare Software Engineer to join their team onsite in Hanover, MD. Active DOD TS/SCI is required.

Cyber Warfare Software Engineer Qualifications/Responsibilities:

  • Active DOD TS/SCI is required
  • 10+ hands-on involvement in software development
  • 3 years of managerial experience leading software development teams
  • 3 years dedicated to cyber or C4ISR systems
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Capacity to operate effectively within office or laboratory settings
  • Contributes to software and system test strategy development and implementation.
  • Reviews and evaluates contractor software code for adherence to government coding and cybersecurity standards.
  • Participates in government oversight of contractor software development, including involvement in agile development activities such as scrums and sprint retrospectives.
  • Assists in the development of software acceptance criteria and provides recommendations to the government Assistant Product Manager on various development aspects.
  • Offers comprehensive solution recommendations for technical issues
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Leadership experience overseeing multiple agile teams
  • Familiarity with Dev/Sec/Ops tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of Unix-based and Windows Operating Systems
  • Understanding of Application Programming Interface.
  • Familiarity with Ansible Playbooks
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Java development
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders
  • Capability to work on, or lead, multi-functional/multidisciplinary teams
