The Residential Program Director oversees all facets of the CR-SRO Program's development, operations, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a residential setting with similar populations.
  • At least three years of supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of Supervisor, Service Coordinators, Counselors, and other relevant staff, including scheduling.
  • On-site management of cooks, administrative assistant, and maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct weekly individual and group supervisory meetings.
  • Perform regular evaluations and participate in staff hiring and termination processes.
  • Handle all intake procedures, including applicant screening and reporting to the Single Point of Access (SPA).
  • Ensure compliance with NYSOMH and SPA protocols.
  • Maintain optimal program occupancy rates.
  • Adhere to LIHTC and AHP regulations, managing eligibility determination and annual certifications.
  • Collaborate with Property Management on site maintenance, safety issues, and with the accounting department.
  • Provide crisis intervention with 24/7 cell phone coverage.
  • Coordinate coverage during staff turnover periods.
  • Foster collaboration with housing providers through committees, projects, and community outreach efforts.
  • Assist staff and clients with securing and maintaining entitlement income.
  • Stay updated on Agency-required compliance documents and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
