We are seeking a fine dining Executive Sous Chef to join the team for a new restaurant opening with an established and stable group. First in class when it comes to quality and amazing-tasting authentic food. The ideal Chef is experienced with Italian cuisine, seafood, steaks, and chops and has a passion for excellent food and presentation. Must be self-driven to oversee the culinary activities for the restaurant. You will be joining a strong team of professionals where your hard work is generously rewarded.

Restaurant Executive Sous Chef's Requirements:

  • High-volume experience 8+ million a year
  • 3+ years of Executive Sous Chef experience in upscale dining
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent track record for staffing and performance management
  • Ability to lead by example with strong attention to detail for following recipes
  • Ability to thrive in a chef-driven environment
  • Skilled in leading and developing one's team 

Restaurant Executive Sous Chef's Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all day-to-day operations in the kitchen are executed
  • Responsible for all food product procurement  
  • Comply with all purchasing programs 
  • Effectively track actual financial results and make adjustments to meet goals as needed 
  • Manage labor, expenses, and cost of food budget successfully 
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning in proper order
  • Comply with all county and state laws governing food service operations
