We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our semi-private destination golf resort. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, staff training, and ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

 

Executive Chef Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $75,000 to $80,000

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Develop creative and diverse menus that cater to the preferences of our guests while incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors
  • Food Preparation: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency and efficiency in food preparation
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of culinary skills and professionalism. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Cost Control: Manage food costs and kitchen expenses effectively through strategic purchasing, portion control, and waste reduction measures
  • Guest Satisfaction: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure that guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback and special requests

Executive Chef Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment
  • Extensive culinary knowledge and proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Creative and innovative approach to menu development and food presentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred
