Maintenance and Facilities Manager Needed!

Join Georgia's premier tourist destination as our new Maintenance and Facilities Manager. In this role, you'll lead daily operations and oversee transportation and vehicle maintenance across our expansive property.

Maintenance and Facilities Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the property is safe and ready for guests daily, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Handle maintenance emergencies with clear communication and urgency.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of servant leadership.
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently and on time.
  • Conduct financial reviews and assist in developing annual operating plans.
  • Manage capital projects within budget and on schedule.
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff.
  • Develop and implement OSHA-compliant training programs.
  • Create preventative maintenance plans for equipment and vehicles.

Maintenance and Facilities Manager Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in water, sewer, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of building codes and underground utilities.
  • Strong economic analysis skills related to maintenance functions.
  • Familiarity with building envelope maintenance and mechanical attractions.
  • Ability to stay updated on industry regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and CMMS maintenance software.
  • Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Trade school or Associate's degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of maintenance experience and management experience.
  • Experience in hospitality or theme park industry preferred.
  • Relevant certifications and memberships are advantageous.
