Assistant Director of Campus Dining Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the dining service operations, including catering and concessions
  • Oversee on-site food preparation, sanitation, merchandising, and service standards
  • Modernize food production and service techniques
  • Oversee pricing and portion standards and FSA policies
  • Work on training classes for service personnel as needed
  • Oversee market research and focus groups
  • Develops a competent team of managers
  • Develops and monitors budget
  • Assists or may manage the catering division with catering operations

Assistant Director of Campus Dining Requirements:

  • Prefer ServSafe and TIPS Certification
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in general management in a large volume, multi-unit food service organization in the multi-million-dollar range, including operational and financial expertise

Preferred:

  • Experience with University food service is a huge plus
  • Union environment background a huge plus
