Field Service Engineer Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of industry experience
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
  • Relevant degree qualification or similar qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Ability to align multi axis machines to high tolerances
  • Strong follow-through
  • Self-directed initiative
  • Excellent communication; both verbal and written

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Completing Preventative Maintenance tasks and provide training courses both onsite and in-house
  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repair on EDM, Laser and STEM equipment, used in the production of cooling holes for Turbine blades
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated
  • Carry out Axis alignments to ensure correct operation and functionality of the machines
  • Travel will be necessary with this role
