Growing hospitality group is looking for their next Chef de Cuisine for their upscale restaurant in a popular boutique hotel in Nashville. Great company with lots of growth opportunities in the future! If you have experience in upscale dining, please apply!

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality food and service
  • Food ordering and controlling food costs
  • Staff scheduling and controlling labor costs
  • Ability to multitask and get things done as efficiently as possible
  • Hold staff and be self-accountable to all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to develop a strong staff by continuously training and coaching both line level staff and sous chefs
  • Be able to support staff and other management in all areas of the hotel including banquets, restaurants, and bars.

Chef de Cuisine Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a fine-dining or upscale-casual scratch kitchen in a similar position
  • Experience in multi-unit management preferred
  • High-volume experience- $3 million-plus
  • Understands quality and helps uphold standards at all times
  • Culinary degree or relevant experience required
