As Terminal Manager, you'll oversee daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. Managing staff, optimizing operations, and maintaining excellent customer service are key aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise terminal operations, including dispatching staffing and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop operational procedures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage equipment maintenance to meet safety standards.
  • Lead hiring, training, and development of staff.
  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Prepare and manage the terminal budget.
  • Analyze data for performance improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations.
