Our client, a recently launched specialty wholesale broker, is looking for a Head of Underwriting to join their organization.

HEAD OF UNDERWRITING REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years E&S experience
  • 5+ years experience as an underwriter
  • Executive presence and cultural driver
HEAD OF UNDERWRITING RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create, develop, and manage underwriting appetite, rating structure, guidelines, forms, form usage, and terms
  • Monitor and support all aspects of product development to achieve revenue and performance targets
  • Lead with the development and implementation of newly formed programs
  • Develop portfolio management strategies and execute tactical decisions
  • Implement, monitor, and track policy management processes for bound business and reporting
  • Recruit, develop, and train an underwriting team
