The Complex Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing the hotel's engineering division, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility. This role encompasses financial management, staff supervision, maintenance planning, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Complex Director of Engineering Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train Engineering staff in customer service, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Create and manage staff schedules in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Develop and manage the department's annual budget.
  • Participate in financial forecasting and profit/loss reviews.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program for equipment.
  • Ensure safety equipment and systems meet hotel standards.
  • Ensure ADA compliance and manage vendor contracts.
  • Engage in hotel programs and lead the Safety Committee.

Complex Director of Engineering Qualifications

  • 5 years of facilities management experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Relevant licenses and maintenance skills.
  • Willingness to work long hours and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and operational standards.
