Experienced Pastry Chef needed for a high-volume Midtown Atlanta dining institution known for its upscale comfort food, outstanding service, and expansive wine menu. Must have solid bakery or pastry experience, preferably in upscale restaurants or high-end catering companies.

Pastry Chef Benefits & Growth Details:

Pastry Chef Responsibilities:

  • Efficient running of kitchen overseeing pastry kitchen
  • Exhibit culinary talents by personally performing day-to-day tasks, producing key menu items, while leading the staff and managing all food related functions
  • Ensure exceptional quality of all ingredients, preparation, and plating of food items
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit

Pastry Chef Requirements:

  • Culinary Degree Preferred or comparable industry experience
  • Experience in Upscale Dining/Upscale Catering or Luxury Hotels Required
  • 2-3 Years in a Pastry Chef Role Required
  • Scratch Kitchen Experience Required
