Seeking a Civil Engineer or Structural Designer with PE and at least 3 years of design experience for our CA-based Architect-Engineer firm. Must have proficiency in steel, concrete, and masonry building design. The ability to work independently in a team setting is essential.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural analysis, design, and detailing across various projects.
  • Collaborate with architectural staff, owners, and contractors to deliver coordinated and high-quality structural drawings.
  • Represent the Structural Design Team in meetings with contractors and owners.
  • Interface with contractors during construction to minimize potential complications.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.

Civil Engineer Qualifications:

  • Must have PE in any state
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Consulting experience within the A/E/C industry is necessary.
  • Proficiency in engineering software like STAAD, Risa, and Enercalc.
  • Ability to create construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.
