One of the Nation's leading Steakhouse Organizations is looking for a new SALES MANAGER for our Boston location! This individual will join a dynamic organization, and be tasked with generating revenue through private dining sales in the restaurant’s private dining room(s), through direct sales, direct mail, and other sales and marketing efforts.

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • 3 years of prior restaurant or hotel sales
  • Exhibit sales techniques in identifying key markets and developing key relationships to generate core business and maintain existing accounts
  • Network to build the business by entertaining prospective clients weekly
  • Work closely with the management team to develop a quarterly action plan, in order to maximize space and revenue and fill slower periods
  • Make catering arrangements for clients, including menus, pricing, wine selection, AV requirements, and billing information
  • Follow through with the planning, execution, and follow-up of each event

Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Professional oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work in a high-energy and demanding environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong organizational and sales skills
  • Effective problem-solving and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
