No two days are ever the same, but most days will include the following responsibilities:

  • As the Director of People and Culture, roughly half your time is spent in direct contact with teams and customers, directly leading from the front as a role-model of company standards, culture, and goals, and seeing first-hand how training and development systems are can continuously propel the business forward
  • Lead a service culture that champions the customer and the employee experience by personally modeling and coaching behaviors according to your training programs
  • Plan, lead, and follow-up on trends and changes in operational business needs
  • Partner with Director of Operations and Director of Human resources to plan and implement all Training and Development actions towards company operational goals
  • Partner with Operations leaders across levels to impact all aspects of operations (cost controls, service, employee scheduling and retention, etc.)
  • Accountable for the effectiveness of all training and development systems and programs
  • Lead and develop your team of Training Managers
  • Establish an open-door environment of trust, accountability, and growth for all individuals
  • Take an active role in volunteerism, brand and community pride, and overall engagement

You’re a good fit for us if you have:

  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in corporate/franchise multi-site training, learning and development
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience leading a team to do the same
  • Proficient in content/ curriculum creation
  • Strong analytic/ reasoning/ quantitative skills: able to read and interpret financial reporting data, etc.
  • Solid PMP skills
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Energetic and people-focused temperament/ work-style, able to engage and inspire others
  • 4-year degree in HR-related field preferred
  • Comfortable with and able to adapt to current technology and trends
  • Comfortable with a flexible work schedule and location
  • Experienced in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of staff in both hourly/ salary roles
  • Proficient in adult learning methods, structured training and instruction, and personality-style systems
