Join our team at a boutique public accounting firm in the Denver Tech Center, where we specialize in providing tax expertise to businesses and corporations. Our focus includes tax law, compliance, and planning, with a specialization in federal, state, and foreign taxation for multi-national public mining companies across North and South America, Europe, and Australia.

 

Tax Associate Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex tax returns for various clients, such as corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs, and organize associated workpapers
  • Use tax-related software to prepare and process returns, as well as research tax matters
  • Identify, research, and resolve tax, accounting, and business issues, documenting findings in written memoranda
  • Assist in preparing tax provisions under ASC 740 and IAS 12
  • Complete ad hoc tax projects for clients as required

Tax Advisor Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Go System Tax RS software preferred
